Notarized Translation of an Israeli Birth Certificate
A notarized translation of your Israeli birth certificate is required in almost every process involving a foreign authority: citizenship and passport applications, immigration petitions (including USCIS), marriage registration abroad, and social-security claims. Foreign authorities accept only a translation certified by a notary – a plain translation is not enough.
Most Israeli birth certificates fall within the first tariff bracket (up to 100 words), which means ₪296 incl. VAT, everything included. A certificate dense with stamps or a long annex may cross into the next bracket – the exact price appears on our site the moment you upload a photo, before any commitment.
| Up to 100 words | ₪296 |
| Up to 200 words | ₪529 |
| Up to 300 words | ₪761 |
Prices include VAT and are the notary fee fixed by Israeli regulation – identical by law at every notary in Israel. With us, translation preparation is included, with no separate translator fee.
How it works
- Upload a clear photo or PDF of your birth certificate – the system counts the words and shows a final price instantly.
- Pay by card, with a written delivery commitment shown before you pay.
- Receive a certification of translation signed by Adv. Liran Zilberman, Notary (license 222285) by email within one business day – same day on the express track. A physically bound, ribboned copy is available by courier.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an apostille on the birth certificate?
If the document is submitted to an authority abroad – almost always yes, both on the original certificate (Ministry of Interior) and on the notarial certification (issued at court). We handle the apostille on the notarial certification for you as an add-on to your order.
Does a specific English spelling of names matter?
Very much. If a name must be spelled a certain way (as in a passport or visa), state it in the notes field of your order. Once the certification is signed, it cannot be changed.
Is it accepted by USCIS and foreign embassies?
A notarial certification of translation under Israeli law is the highest certification standard in Israel and is accepted by embassies, immigration authorities and courts worldwide. Check your specific authority's requirements – and if in doubt, message us on WhatsApp.
